Brethren, Myrtle Lodge #89 is having a MM degree tomorrow (5/13) evening at 5pm. First section starts at 5, followed by dinner ($10 and you’re always fed very well), and then the second section. They are short-handed and could really use assistance. Even if you cannot make the first section, they would certainly enjoy having you for dinner and/or the second section.

RWB Eddie Steffne

Right Worshipful Brother Eddie R. Steffne, Grand Lecturer Emeritus, went from his labors on earth to everlasting refreshment in the paradise of God on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at his home. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers

This week

The Commandery installation was very exciting to see. Their Asylum is a real treasure. Also, Ann Arbor Fraternity No. 262 did a great job conducting 15 EAs through their FC degree. We will be practicing the MM degree this Wednesday and performing it this Saturday at 10am. Visiting MM’s welcome. Also, district Mason of the year dinner will be at the Grotto in Ann Arbor at 6:30pm on Saturday

Master Mason and Detroit

We will be performing a Master Mason degree on April 24th. We will be having coffee and donuts at 9am. Lodge will be open at 10am with lunch following completion of the first section (handled by Mrs. Arden Tomecek and Job’s Daughters). The second section will follow lunch. Brothers should feel encourage to visit.

Also, on May 1st, our Lodge will be visiting the magnificent Detroit Masonic Temple. All are welcome to join us. The tour is scheduled for noon, but we will be meeting at Milan Lodge beforehand and carpooling from there. I will have times for when we will be leaving next week.

Other news:

Tonight (4/16) - Saline Lodge #133 will be holding an EA degree at 7pm. Also, Detroit Commandery #1 will be holding their officer’s installation at 7pm as well.

Tomorrow (4/17) - Ann Arbor Fraternity Lodge #262 will be having a FC degree for approximately 14 Brothers at the Scottish Rite Center in Dearborn. The degree work will commence at 10:30am.

Worshipful Brother Porter will be having surgery today. It would be greatly appreciated if everyone would keep him and his family in your prayers. Also, Brother Day has just recently passed away. We will be having a Masonic Memorial at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home in Milan. I will update when a time and date are established. Please keep Bro. Day’s family in your thoughts and prayers as well.
